Hon. Benson Sunday Reaffirms Administration’s Commitment To Youth Development

As the International Youth Day is being observed today, the administration of Hon, Benson Sunday Ayodele (BSA) and Princess Bisoye Oredoyin Jimoh (BOJ), has assured youths in Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of its commitment to the development of youths in the council

‎The Council Chairman, Hon Benson Ayodele reaffirmed the commitment in a statement commemorating the International Youth Day,

‎This year’s celebration is themed,  “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations.”

‎”The theme highlights the shared aspirations of young people and the important role they play in advancing sustainable development and contributing meaningfully to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

‎”As we celebrate this important occasion, it provides an opportunity to reaffirm the BSA-BOJ administration’s unwavering commitment to youth development.

‎”We remain dedicated to organising youth-focused programmes, capacity-building initiatives, empowerment schemes and other development-oriented programmes designed to equip our young people with the knowledge, skills and opportunities they need to thrive and contribute to the growth of Imota LCDA,” he assured.

‎Hon. Benson commended Imota youths for their participation and engagements in activities that promote development.

‎”I commend our youths in the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Imota Local Branch; Imota Youth Development Association; Imota Students Union, and other youth-based organisations across Imota LCDA for their active contributions to the development of our beloved community.

“Your commitment, dedication and hard work are recognised and deeply appreciated. Our administration values your efforts and remains committed to supporting you in achieving your fullest potential.”

‎He charged them to continue to thrive and improve themselves and be good ambassadors.

‎”I urge all our youths to continue to dream big, embrace opportunities and remain worthy ambassadors of our various communities in Imota LCDA.”

‎”Let us uphold the significance of this occasion by coming together, supporting one another and taking purposeful action to make a positive difference.

‎”Together, we can build a progressive society of young leaders who are empowered, confident and prepared to take the lead rather than waiting to be selected.

‎”Once again, congratulations to all our youths, and I wish every young person in Imota LCDA, both at home and abroad, a Happy International Youth Day. May our collective aspirations continue to inspire greater progress, unity and development in Imota LCDA.”
